Dear Intercultural Trainer Academy Alumni,
Again and again the question came up whether there could be a follow-up offer: an ITA 2.0?! At the same time, we are realizing that the range of topics that are in demand has broadened and “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging” has become more important. So, we would like to offer an intensive course of 3.5 days that will build upon the knowledge and skills shared in your ITA and add competences that enable you to include DEIB content and activities in your trainings.
This is what you can experience in March:
- Expand your knowledge on DEIB-related topics and how they connect to and complement intercultural models and theories
- Get to know DEIB-focused activities to add to your trainer toolkit, such as activities focused on identity, power and privilege, micro-aggressions and micro-validations, inclusive behaviors, and more (we will do activities and then reflect on the trainer level)
- Reconnecting and meeting alumni from your or other ITAs
- Time to network and share about YOUR expertise (so we will be asking for your input and interest. This could include your training experiences, dealing with difficult situations, your own cultural experiences etc.)
These are some more facts:
- Place: Hamburg, Germany
- Date: March 20 – 23, 2025, regular seminar hours: 9:00-17:00, Sunday: 9:00-13:00
- Trainers: Dr. Nadine Binder, Phuong Vy Tran, Prof. Annette Gisevius (find out more about them here)
- Target group: Former ITA participants of the past 13 years 🙂
- Tuition costs: 690,00 €
(like in the “regular ITA travel and accommodation will not be part of this price. We are planning to reserve single rooms in the same hotel for those who want to stay at the same place as other ITA 2.0 participants. If you are interested in one of those rooms, we can transfer the booking to your name and let you know how much you will have to pay for the room)
